  1. Well, to be fair, when Jesus was asked that question only the first half of the Bible had been written. Cameron's favourite quote comes from the post-Jesus section.

  2. Well the way I read it the *intent* is to say "knowing about christianity is great".But I read it as a more general message that knowledge is very valuable and powerful in all sorts of good ways.

  3. Plus for me to like it, it has to be a) something I can take as non-christian and b) inside my very limited mental stock of bible quotes.

  4. Bertrand Russell, who of course was no particular friend of Christianity, nevertheless claimed a favourite Bible verse, Exodus 23:2: "thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil". (The relevance of this to the original post will be left undefined herein.)
