I have been dyeing my hair in liturgical colours since the beginning of Advent. This is to raise money for repairs to the bellows of our very fine Lewis pipe organ at St Andrew's. I've done purple, pink, purple with red, white/gold, and white with red. One tired organist after playing services for the start of the "gold or white" season, that is, Christmas: I'm not sure it suits me, but at least my hair survived the bleach, more or less. Tomorrow: red for St Stephen. I'll be trying some "hair chalk" and seeing how that works.

Another Ember Day today. They come in threes, you see. On Wednesday I found the spray I used kept flaking off an irritating my throat. Not good.
